How does your Facebook Fan Page "Grade"?

hubspotHere is a really neat tool that I discovered from the fantastic and knowledgeable people over at Hubspot. “HubSpot® is an inbound marketing system to help your small or medium sized business get found on the Internet by the right prospects and convert more of them into leads and customers for maximum marketing ROI.” They provide businesses with free tools to help them gain more exposure and success on the Internet.

One of the tools that they offer is “Facebook Grader.” Facebook Grader allows you to either grade a Fan Page or an user. Facebook Fan Boxes

If you are anything like me, you are trying to get your fan base on Facebook up to 100 so you can secure you Vanity URL on your Fanpage. One way that I have gained some new fans is by adding a Facebook Fan Box to both my blog and website. And it is super easy to do!

Just go to your Facebook Fan Page (your Facebook business page) and on the left side right under your picture or logo there is option that says: “Add Fan Box to your site.” All you need to do is cut and paste the code into your website or blog and a widget will appear on your site that shows a feed of your recent activity. Now people can become fans just by clicking on your Fan Box.

There are few options to customize your site. You can choose to have your fans show in your box. I chose not to have current fans be apart of my box for a few reasons. One: how do I know that my fans want their picture on my website or blog? The last thing I want to do is offend one of my fans:) Two: the box is pretty large as it is and I wanted to do something that made it look smaller.

As far as I’m concerned, this new option provided by Facebook is fabulous! Enjoy!
